Neighborhood project

Offering Jungschar in a specific neighborhood in the afternoons to reach new children.

Project description

Guugel and Sörtschi, two funny guys, accompanied us through the afternoon with greetings and closing and especially during the devotion

On three afternoons we tried to include as many activities of the Jungschar and Ameisli as possible. So the first afternoon took place only in the quarter and different activities were organized like obstacle course, swinging, face painting, photo shooting, rifle shooting and climbing a mountain pass. It takes time and a bit of money to organise a race. But it is a lot of fun and attracts children. For quarter kids it was offered already in the morning, so the team of leaders had enough time to take care of them.

In order for the children to easily recognize the leaders, they wore a staff shirt in red with their name on the front. In addition, each child stuck his name label on the T-shirt.

On the second occasion, after the devotion, the group were divided into Ameisli (6 - 9 years old) and Jungschi (9 - 12 years old) and so they did a Mafiagame in the city and a scavenger hunt respectively.

The third time they all go together into the woods do a terrain game and roast marshmallows over the fire.

With a subsequent fall camp and Christmas musical, the interesting program should continue and grab and entice the new kids even more.
