Guidelines for preventive child protection

Brochure from the Working Group of Bible-oriented Austrian Youth, ABÖJ

Introduction

Because the topic of sexual abuse is a recurring theme in the general public, but above all because people with whom we come into contact deserve to be dealt with adequately and sensitively, we have written this guideline.

Target

The contents of this guideline are intended to raise awareness of the issue. Because unfortunately, even in circles that are oriented towards Christian values, insensitive behavior can occur, up to and including sexual exploitation.

To avoid abuse in any form, preventive work is an important focus of this booklet.

Further, this booklet provides concrete assistance and shows how to react professionally in suspected or confirmed cases.
