Making an umbrella to Psalm 91

Material

• Paper min. 100 g/cm2 (printout of the template)
• 1x round wood (6-8mm) or (lead) pencil

Building instructions

Print the template on min. 100 gram paper.

Cut out the umbrella.

||

Fold it along the lines and glue it together at the gluing point.

Now sharpen the round wood or the (lead) pencil on both sides and pierce through the middle of the umbrella. If necessary, lightly prick the hole with scissors.

Now glue the paper umbrella to the round wood or the (lead) pencil and possibly fix it with some scotch tape

Psalm 91 - Under God's Protection (LUT)

1 He that sitteth under the shield of the Most High, and abideth under the shadow of the Almighty, 2 saith unto the LORD, / My confidence and my fortress, my God, in whom I hope. 3 For he delivereth thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the pestilent plague. 4 He shall cover thee with his wings, / And refuge shalt thou have under his wings. His truth is screen and shield, 5 that thou shalt not be afraid of the terror of the night, of the arrows that fly by day, 6 of the pestilence that creepeth in darkness, of the pestilence that bringeth destruction at noonday. 7 Though a thousand fall at thy side / and ten thousand at thy right hand, yet it shall not befall thee. 8 Yea, thou shalt see it with thine own eyes, and behold how the wicked shall be recompensed. 9 For the Lord is thy confidence, the Most High is thy refuge. 10 No evil shall befall thee, and no plague shall come nigh thy house. 11 For he hath commanded his angels that they should keep thee in all thy ways, 12 that they should bear thee up in their hands, and that thou shouldest not strike thy foot against a stone. 13 Over lions and vipers shalt thou go, and young lions and dragons shalt thou tread down. 14 "He loves me, therefore I will save him; he knows my name, therefore I will protect him. 15 He calls to me, therefore I will hear him; / I am with him in trouble, I will pluck him out and bring him to honor. 16 I will satisfy him with long life, and will show him my salvation."
