Organization

You youth leaders do an outstanding job! I think it is great with what passion and commitment you often fight Saturday after Saturday for children and teenagers in your age groups!

Nobody will deny that the Ameisli, Jungschar and teen work costs something. But - who is going to pay for it? The youth leaders? The church? Sponsors? Or simply donors?

Jungle leaders contribute much to the building of the house of "church" as "builders."

Where and how do they help?

As obvious as this statement seems, it is often disregarded in practice. The expectations of the congregation, the youth group and its leaders are often very high (something similar can be said about the other branches of children's and youth work)

- Effects of coordination and communication internally and externally

- Methods to improve coordination and communication in the community

Youth groups working with the national church should definitely consider some specifics

The search for the perfect community

"Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy." (Deut. 19:2)

"The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father also seeketh such to be his worshippers." (John 4:23)

Wish:

Our youth group is well integrated into the congregation and our work is appreciated. We are comfortable in the community!

What do we mean by a project?

Project programs aim to meet the needs and interests of teenagers, or simply to pursue certain pursuits over a longer period of time, where active participation / design is required.

Teens create one or more circus shows

We organize a soapbox race with as little effort as possible. This can spur the teens and kids to build their own soapboxes.

Our Jungschi organises a schoolboy floorball tournament for the local area

Rodeo on spring-loaded wooden buck with saddle for teen group occasions in the village / neighbourhood

Take charge of and conduct worship with the entire teen group from A-Z.

Each teen and leader is involved and put to work according to their gifts.

The aim of the Gelateria is to create a cosy place where young people can be together in an informal way. It should be a cheap alternative to the Beizenbesuch and allow contacts

Teenies can participate in a self-chosen interest group for a certain period of time. They work actively and propose project topics themselves, e.g. foreign cooking

If you want to make a movie with a group of teens over a long period of time, you can use the script you already have or opt for your own book or story.

Over the course of the year there are many dates for parents, children and leaders. These are often linked to school holidays and other church events. So it is worthwhile to keep the overview with a simple representation.

Hunger, persecution, lack of perspective was for centuries a reason to leave the known Europe and seek the new happiness in the land of unlimited opportunities.

Brother Yun is a Chinese evangelist who has greatly influenced the house church movement in China over the past 4 decades. His hunger for a Bible after his conversion at 16, his vision to spread the gospel, and his perseverance in prayer are exemplary and well suited for a semester program for young people with 7-14 occasions. After years of living in prisons, Brother Yun now lives in Germany. His vivid stories have been written down in the book "Heavenly Man"

5against5 known as a TV show (family quiz) is suitable as a quiz game in the afternoon or as an evening show on the occasion of an anniversary or parents' evening. The preparation for it is time-consuming, especially if the questions are created by yourself.

The Megaton is about making a film using the simplest means possible and within a 'normal' programme. Can be shown at parent or information night. All teens should be engaged in the process.

For leaders in children's and youth work it is certainly one of the most beautiful tasks to promote and use the gifts that God as Creator has given to every human being. It is truly (Lord)ly to see how the Lord has placed them in individual human lives and very regrettable how much lies fallow that could actually be used for the good of all.
