Boxes can be made out of paper, and if desired, they can also be used in connection with a devotional.
Material
- Paper
- Scissors

Instructions for Making a Paper Box
* The paper must be square (can be made from an A4 sheet: Figures 1–6)
* Fold the square paper twice into a triangle (Figures 6–8)
* Fold all four corners toward the center (Figures 9–12)
* Fold both halves toward the center, then fold both halves toward the center again (Figures 13–17)
* Unfold everything and make four cuts with scissors as shown in Figure 20 (Figures 18–21)
* Fold both “narrow” corners toward the center along the fold lines (Figures 22 and 23)
* Fold both “wider” corners toward the center/up to the cut along the fold lines (Figures 24–28)
* Fold the four “protruding” tips of the two folded-together “wider” corners together to form a square, and fold the “narrow” corners over them—this creates one part of the box (Figures 29–32)
* Repeat the exact same process with a new sheet of paper of the same size, then nest the two parts of the box inside each other (Image 33)
* Repeat this process with different sizes of paper so that the various boxes can be nested inside one another—then print the Bible verses in the appropriate size, cut them out, and place them in their respective boxes.

An opportunity to combine "box folding" with a devotional:
- Make five boxes of different sizes
- Write “Death—What Then?” on the largest box—place the Bible verse John 5:24 inside this box.
- Write “Salvation” on the second-largest box—place the Bible verse John 1:12 inside this box
- Write “Bible” on the third-largest box—place the Bible verse 2 Timothy 3:15 inside this box
- Write “Human” on the second-smallest box—place the Bible verse Psalm 139:14 inside this box
- Write “Jesus Christ” on the smallest box—place the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 inside this box
- Place the smallest box inside the second-smallest box, then place both of them inside the third-largest box, and so on!
- So first you read “Death—what then?”—when the box is opened, the answer is found inside along with the Bible verse.
- Next comes “Salvation”—the Bible verse in this box explains how that’s possible.
- And so it continues with the following boxes until the last and most important one—the “core”—the solution to everything = “Jesus Christ”!
