A Game with Its Own Dynamics
A game that draws on familiar games yet develops its own unique dynamics. A game that allows for a wide variety of variations and requires few materials. A game that can be played for fun or as a championship.
- Materials:
Ping-pong balls, inflatable balloons, or your own shoe or slipper. - How to Play:
Don’t inflate the balloons too much; hold them with your whole hand. The ping-pong ball is played not with a ping-pong paddle but with the balloon. It’s not exactly easy and takes some practice, but it can be played by people of all ages.
- Variation 1
If two people aren’t playing together, each player can try individually to make the small ball bounce on the balloon as many times as possible. - Variation 2
Instead of the balloon, you can also use the sole of your own shoe, sandal, or slipper. This is a slightly easier variation, but it also takes some getting used to. - Variations:
As mentioned earlier, this game can be played alone or in pairs. Depending on age, a tournament with higher or lower difficulty levels can be organized. You can keep score (points) or organize a knockout tournament. It’s a great introductory game for an obstacle course; for example, the player who has bounced the ping-pong ball back and forth twice can start the course, and so on. Don’t give up right away—just take some time to practice—and you’re sure to have a lot of fun.
